  • Molding: Artisans skillfully sculpt high-quality natural clay, shaping the sink with expert precision. The unique form of each basin is achieved either by hand or with a potter's wheel.

Drying: The sculpted sink is air-dried at room temperature. This process can range from a few days to a week, preparing the sink for its first firing by removing residual moisture.

First Firing (Biscuit Firing): The sink is hardened through firing in a kiln at temperatures between 1,650°F (900°C) and 1,980°F (1,080°C). This transforms the clay into a robust ceramic material.

Glazing: Artisans apply a layer of liquid glass or glaze to the sink's surface, creating a protective layer that makes the sink more resistant to stains and wear.

Decoration: The glaze serves as a canvas for our artisans, who hand-paint unique Çini designs onto the basin using vibrant underglazes. Each design is a distinct expression of the artist's vision.

Second Firing (Glost Firing): After the painting, the sink undergoes a second firing. This process melts the glaze, setting the hand-painted designs and creating a glossy, smooth, durable surface.

Cooling and Finishing: The ceramic sink is then cooled down to room temperature, a process that may take over a day. Any final refinements are made, and the sink is inspected thoroughly for quality before it's ready for installation.
